A consultancy with seven pages, no form and two tracking codes that measured nothing. Now 25 pages and a form that lands in the inbox. Underneath, a data layer with 22 sources.

Klare Wijn audits companies. Its own site had seven pages, no worked-out research and no form. Anyone with a question was sent to an external booking tool. Two tracking codes sat in the code with a placeholder ID. They measured nothing.
The site runs on Astro. Each piece of research is one file, with no admin panel or database. A custom form sends enquiries straight to the mailbox. Clients hand in their documents in a private portal, logging in with a link by email. Underneath, a data layer pulls figures from Search Console, GA4, Google Ads, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Meta, PostHog and Ahrefs.
We ran the baseline on 23 July, three days before the rebuild. The page count comes from the sitemap of 16 August. The data layer figures come from our own database on 19 September.
The baseline is our own, not an independent review. Visit and enquiry figures aren't listed: not measured yet. How much manual work the data layer saves hasn't been measured either.
