Someone who wants to wash their car searches by town and type. The question is where you can wash without driving out of your way. Nearby is about distance. On the way is about the detour you make. Sorting a list by distance is a different sum from working out a route.
One template, 3,209 pages.
54 Python scripts pull locations from 15 sources and fill in the gaps. That data produces a page per location, town and type. The map only loads when you use it. The app works as a PWA on the phone. Visitors report errors in the data, car washes have their own portal.

We count locations and fields in our own database. The page count comes from the sitemap. Usage comes from our own cookieless event log. The load time is one measurement from one place, not an average over real visitors.
WasStop has just opened. 3,209 pages don't bring visitors by themselves: the baseline of 18 September is 10 impressions and 1 click. The detour time puts results in the right order in 89% of our tests.
